Just had a very enjoyable 2 nights in Basel at the Europe Hotel. An excellent hotel. Spotlessly clean and a very good breakfast. Highly recommended.

"Excellant Stay"
arrived late from the airport and got to the Hotel for 22.00. I checked in very quickly and asked if it was too late to get a hot meal. The receptionist was very helpful and contacted the restaurant next door which normally stopped serving at 22.00 and told them I was coming straight round. The meal was excellant and the hotel kept my bags so that I did not have to drop them at my room. The room was very clean with a nice view, a little on the small side but had everything I needed for a short business trip. The breakfast buffet was sufficient with both hot and cold food and good service. I would certainly recommend this hotel for a business trip.

I have stayed twice at the Hotel Europe and both stays have been exceptional. Hotel room clean and adequate size. Breakfast was included and was very good. Friendly staff. Tram pass included with stay which was great to help get about Basel. 10-15min walk to town centre or 5min in a tram - ideal. Definately recommend this hotel.
